You can take a plane from Jakarta, Surabaya, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Solo, Ujung Pandang, Balikpapan , Samarinda or Palembang, which lands on Syamsuddin Noor Airport, 25 km from Banjarmasin, DC-9 Planes can land on the airport. Airlines companies that serve this route are Merpati Nusantara, Bouraq, Sempati Air and Dirgantara Air Service (DAS). Around 25 planes land on the airport everyday.
